How good is PTN viewing with Aladdin's Oasis dining package?

Last time we were in DLR (Dec 2-5, 2015) we set up a blanket and took turns holding our spot 3.5 hrs before Paint the Night to ensure a good spot on the curb of Main Street. It was amazing and worth the wait for the first time seeing the parade. We are headed to DLR in two weeks and would like to see PTN again, but I don't want to spend 3.5 hrs holding a spot again. We are considering Aladdin's Oasis for the viewing pass. How is the view?

I started a thread about this a while back and the consensus seemed to be that you could get a spot by Its a Small World for free right near the paid viewing area by getting there about an hour or before the start of the parade. This may depend though on the time of year and crowd levels!
