I am thinking of making reservations one night for an Italian Restaurant which is my husband's favorite!:love::love: (I love fish, and I noticed that all of my ADR's are for seafood places, oops! ;))

How good is Il Mulino? We are not on the DDP. Is this the best Italian on property, or is there somewhere else we should try? Anything anyone could tell me would be appreciated!

Yes, it is the best Italian on property. I don't think it's fair to compare the others to it; it's that much better.

wow! thanks for the opinion! There are hardly any posts about it, and I can't seem to find a consistent menu. There aren't any pictures of the food or restaurant in the "categorized" sections either! So this is good to know!

My husband and I ate there last week and it was a terrific meal. Food was excellent and the service was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this if you love Italian food.

My wife and I go to Il Mulino every trip and we love it. I loved the veal meatballs and the chicken parm was awesome. My wife loved the arancini app. The service is always great! You must go.

We love Il Mulino and have ADRs for our next trip.:):)

No question that it's the best Italian restaurant on property. I can vouch for both the chicken and the veal Parm.

We have had some good experiences at Il Mulino. The food is excellent. Please read my review from 2009 for more details.

My mom and I ate there on our last trip, spur of the moment, and loved it! The pastas were amazing, as were the breads. I probably should have skipped dessert, but what the heck, I was on vacation! The flourless chocolate cake was absolutely to die for!

If you do decide to go there you should check out restaurant.com
Here is the information from an email I received on it and if you do a search on these boards you will see that others have taken advantage of the great offer.
The following copied and pasted from the email:

80% Off Restaurant Gift Certificates at Restaurant.com

You can save money at Walt Disney World and Disneyland-area restaurants by purchasing discounted gift certificates from Restaurant.com . The Orlando and Anaheim restaurants offered through this program change frequently, but recently most of the restaurants in the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin hotels have been participating (including bluezoo, Kimonos, Il Mulino and more). House of Blues in Downtown Disney at both WDW and Disneyland has also been included recently.

Most certificates are for a specific amount (usually $25) and you get them at a discounted price (usually $10 or less). Currently, however, you can save even more with a code that gives you an extra 80% off already discounted certificates: a $25 certificate is just $2 after the discount. This offer ends July 31.

For full details and the discount code, visit
http://www.mousesavers.com/meals.html#restcom

The cool thing is too is you don't have to pay shipping and handling, you print the certificates on your printer.

Thanks for the opinion! I also really enjoyed reading your other reviews since we are going to some of those restaurants as well!

Can we use a TIW card with this certificate? I'm wondering which would be the better value, given that we always order wine!

And yes, the food is wonderful. My favorite meal last trip. We both had specials of the night, mine involved seafood and was heavenly.

I am not sure because I am not sure what that card is but you can check it out on restaurant.com it lists the terms and conditions. There is also a toll free number on the website to order coupons over the phone vs the computer so you may want to just call the number.
