I was veering towards the salmon main course but youse decided me. And yes... over cooked salmon is some sort of deadly sin straight from Hades

.
Amen to that! In Alaska, they throw you in jail for such a trespass. . .
Glad to read all these positive reviews. We are staying at WL for the first time in November and are planning to eat at AP on our arrival night. My DH really loves salmon, so I will have to tell him the Copper River Salmon comes highly recommended.
Copper River salmon season begins in mid-May and runs some time into September, with the most prized salmon--king--being the first of the season and usually running through late June. I know AP has the Copper River salmon in that time frame, but I'm unsure whether they continue to carry through with the other two seasonal Copper River salmon (sockeye & coho) from June to September. Either way, the fresh Copper River salmon is gone well before November. That being said, the salmon offered at that time is still very good.
Thank you for this, we will be hitting AP again after a couple year hiatus and I had my eye on the braised short rib bolognese but couldn't find too much information on it. I am definitely ordering the donuts, it also feels wrong not to order the cobbler, so that is going to have to happen too (the AP menu is of the reasons we sprung for one night on the DxDP), but it is going to be difficult for me to pass up on the creme brulee, as it is usually my favorite dessert and it isn't something I find often around home. We are staying at CCV that evening so I am hopeful someone can just roll me to my room!
Well, as others have noted, no restaurant is perfect all the time; however, my experience over the years has been that AP almost always delivers. Can't help you with the dessert quandary. I, too, love creme brulee, and the last time I had theirs years ago, it was decadent. However, it's hard to beat those warm donuts or berry ice cream on the cobbler.
Leaving this Saturday for our stay at WL. After sleepydog25's review above, I am really looking forward to our ADR at AP. This will be our first time dining there.
Not sure of the timing with your ADR, but we've found that going early, 5:30-6, increases our chances of getting a window seat. . .which I highly recommend. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Now, back to your regular programming. . .
