I wrote a note to VMK. This is their response :

Just a quick email to let you know that we have received your email safely.

If you were emailing about your child's account or even your own account, you may find out the information you need now by going through the VMK Help Tool using the relevant Disney Account Name (this is NOT the same as the VMK Member Name and will be your email address if you are over 13 years of age) and the date of birth registered to that account.

:confused3 I hit help? But I can't find where I should go?

go to the bottom of your VMK screen and click on the HElp button which is next to the Exit button.
once a screen pops up, go to the report thing at the top and click on it.
Then click on the something else is bothering me and type what is bothering you. Once that has happened, click send.

Are you sure that's now the 911 emergency type button? They just yelled at me for using it.

Is there a way to change/check your birthdate?? I signed up with a Disney Tokenzone name, which doesn't have a b/date attached to it! But it won't let me report from the home page without one. :(

I sent the message. They said they responded. that's what I can't find. And to top things off, I went to confirm his account and I ended up deleting his file. Now I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm in trouble!

Here's the outcome of my frustration:

Sent message to VMK.

VMK responded, but I could not pull up their response.

In the process of trying to find the parental control screen of my son, I accidently hit a link to delete his permission to go online at Disney websites.

So we tried to log on his main character and his 2 mules. The main character and the one mule worked fine, the last created character did not.

When he checked his furnishings we saw that VMK had given him the candy cauldron.

You can check but not change. :) Oddly enough you have to go to the DISNEYLAND website and log in there (my trip I think) and edit information. You can't change birthday but you can find out what you chose. Happened to me!

That's what happened to me too!!

Thanks Shorts! Do you mind sharing a link? I can't seem to find it - the only Guest Relations thing I can find doesn't give that info.

Also, did you ever get through the Difficult Maze? I was ahead of you in line, but either lost my connection or ended up outside room 1...I forget which time we were in line together.

Me too. It wasn't a nice message I got back.

I wonder if it has occurred to them that how they are handling this nightmare weekend is going to live long in our memory and reflect how we think of the VMK game and Disney in the future.

Actually I hate to say it, but I doubt they care. It's not actually Disney who runs this - so they don't care a lot about revenue/perception loss for Disney. And Disney doesn't seem to be keeping tabs on the company, so I doubt they care a whole lot either. :confused3 If Disney was watching how VMK was being handled (and cared) I believe things would have changed months ago!
