in advance would you recommend renting a car? Our trip is March and renting at the airport. Do they charge your credit card the day you submit your ressie or when the car is actually picked up? (first time renter!!) Thanks.

Your card is charged usually when you return the vehicle. They may put a hold on your credit card when you pick up the vehicle.
