How far out to book Emeril's?

OK, I know Open Table isn't taking ressies for June yet. But for the first time, the boys are old enough that we feel confident leaving them with takeout and a movie at WBC and heading out for a romantic dinner for just us.

Dh is a foodie, so I figured we'd try Emeril. I'm leaning toward Tchoup Chop, and the articles online make it out to be a big destination. I'm sure we won't be able to just walk in one night. Is two weeks out early enough?

Also, when we were in Hawaii, even the really nice restaurants were fine with vacation casual. How about Emeril? I don't really want to pack a dress and slacks for us, but we do have room for it since we're driving down.

Really enjoyed Tchoup Chop. It's also beautiful and a great date night place. Are you staying on property? Vacation casual is fine. 2 weeks ahead should be more than plenty....

Cool. I'll book at two weeks out and dh has loads of time to decide if he wants NOLA style or sushi. And I don't have to haul business clothes with us, yay!

We never stay on property, as we own at Wyndham, so we'll be at Bonnet Creek again. Love that place. And love that if the boys can't agree on a movie, they can each have their own tv to find something else to watch, or they can read in separate rooms.
