How far off of I-95 is Hilton Head??

I remember seeing the exit when we went to Disney last year and drove but I had no idea how far it was once you got off at that exit. THANKS

Using I-95 exit 8 US 278, it's about 21 miles from there to the US278/US278 Business split a mile or so after entering the island.

at times traffic is VERY heavy going onto the island. We visit friends who retired there. If you are coming north, you could cut in around Savannah, and knock some time off your drive. you could even stop at Paula Dean's or her brother Uncle Buba's palce to eat. Uncle Bubba's gets my vote!

She's going to plan yet another summer trip to HHI, swear up and down she's not going to WDW, then decide to go to WDW.

Ha Ha girls. It doesn't matter....can't do it. There are no 2 brs. available for 3 days in a row. They only had like two days but not together. We are trying to plan our trip home to AL/FL and were thinking if we drove...we might try and stay 3 nights going or coming at HHI. So next we plan our beach week at Ft. Walton. Not Disney..but we loved it the last time.
