how far of a walk is it from mgm to epcot

The mgm to boardwalk is about a 15 min walk and it would take another 5 mins to get to Epcot. We stayed at the BWV and have done this walk several times.

I love these boards! I had questioned if you could walk from MGM to Boardwalk (I've gotten different answere from different people) it's nice to know that someone was there and has done it and can report back. Cant wait to go in Oct. so I can be helpful to someone else!

There is a walkway that runs along the canal all the way to MGM. I have never seen a lot of people doing this. Most would rather take the boat. We really like doing the walk in the morning to get ready for the day.

This is one of the reasons we love staying at the boardwalk the location to everything.

You can walk from MGM to Boardwalk or Beach club faster than the boat sometimes. With the boat you have to stop at each of the resorts along that canal to drop off or pick up. It is a really nice walk and love to do it also.

We always walk, not only is it faster then the boat but we need the exercise, right!!!!! My feet are aching already.

I'd say about half hour from gate to gate. The MGM gates are a short distance away from the path, and the EPCOT entrance is at the end of the path. We've done the walk and find it most appealing first thing in the morning, before heat and walking through parks. I'd say it's approx 15-20 mins to MGM, around 10 to EPCOT. It is excellent exercise, especially if you see a boat coming and you try to beat it (not too hard to do that)!

I agree with DBH - I have done this walk several times and really enjoy it. It is about 15 min from MGM to Boardwalk and then 5 min from Boardwalk to EPCOT. This is at a reasonable pace;not a stroll not a jog.

A brisk "Im going to a Disney park" walk!

Sometimes for me that turns into a sprint. Especially if we are going to Magic Kingdom.
