How far of a walk from BCV to the Monorail in front of Epcot?

I was wondering how far the walk is from BCV to the Monorail in front of Epcot?

I would estimate that to be approximately 2/3 of a mile. I know that walking from BWV to the epcot monorail is about a mile.

I couldn't give you distances, but it's probably about a 15 minute walk:

5 minutes from BCV to the International Gateway
10 minutes from the IG to the Epcot front entrance

It's a pretty good hike. I would say 20-25 minutes. Unless you are going to do some Epcot activities on the way, the bus is your best bet for the Magic Kingdom

Is there a path from the BC Resort around to the front of EPCOT? If there is, that's cool. But I didn't know about it!

There is no path, and it is about a 20 minute walk through epcot....not a bad walk when it is not that hot

I've done it several times, I agree with IndianaDVCmember about 20-25 min,
if you are planning on it to get to MK I think I would opt for the bus also. After a long day in the park the walk back can be a drag, or a least take the bus back. If you have a car that's the best way to get to any of the parks.

If you're familiar with Epcot, you enter from BCV or BWV between France and England. That should give you a good idea of the distance to the monorail. The walk from your actual room to this "backdoor" into Epcot could be another 5-10 minutes.

We usually take a bus (or cab) to the MK, but occationally take the monorail back to Epcot and walk through WS. We pick up a stroller going in and drop it off at the IG so the kids don't need to walk as far. We sometimes do a trip through one of the Future World attractions (Spaceship Earth and Imagination are favorites for us) on the way back. It isn't faster, but its more magical.

Last year we took the monorail over to the Poly in the morning. Epcot had an EE day, we had reservations at Ohana for breakfast. We got through the single rider line (MIL had the kids) at Mission:Space and went off to breakfast.

I assume you are an annual pass or hopper holder because otherwise you might have to burn a day to walk through the park?

I was going to say it's probably as far as walking from AA back to the monorail - give or take a few dozen steps.

Just recently someone on another forum posted some of the distances between places, I thought it was interesting so I wrote them down.

From Epcot's International gateway to the front turnstiles of Epct it is .59 miles

And some others:

From the start of path (near the Swan) to MGM security is .76 miles

Crescent Lake .81 miles around

From Security at Epcot's International Gateway to the Boardwalk lobby is .39 miles

From the Animal Kingdom entrance to Kilimanjaro Safari is .28 miles
