How far is Universal from MCO?

I'm still trying to decide if we can take a short trip in early May, just hubbie and I. The plan I am considering is an early (7:10) flight on Mon. morning, arriving in MCO at 9:45. Is it reasonable to plan being at the parks by 12:00?
Also we would have all day Tues., and fly back on a 4:45 flight out of MCO on Wed. Could we stay in the park until about 1:30 Wed and still have plenty of time to make our flight? What do you think? TIA.

According to expedia, it should take 18 minutes!...I would count on 30 minutes travel time though!

Back in January, my Delta flight pulled into the gate at 4:15 PM. I was at the front gate at Studios by 5:20 PM.

Wow, that's great! Since we only have one full and two half days at the parks, I was hoping the airport to park time would be short!

Well, when you're motivated, it's amazing how fast you can move .

Seriously, I always carry on, which saves alot of time, I'm an Emerald Aisle member at National Rental Car (which means I go straight to my car in the garage), and I take the BeeLine straight over to I-4, and then straight to Universal Dr. There are a couple of tolls on the BeeLine (bring exact change), but it is alot faster than the surface streets.
