How far is the walk from the Swan to Beaches & Cream?

On our next trip we will be renting a car for two days to go to US/IOA. On the second day we will be returning the car to the Swan hotel and were thinking of heading over to the boardwalk and having dinner at Beaches & Cream. First of all is it possible to walk over? And if so how far of a walk is it? TIA, Melissa

It's about a 5-10 minute walk, very convenient. We stay the Swan a lot and almost always have lunch at least once at B&C. If the weather is yuck or if don't feel like walking you can hop on the Epcot Friendship launch at the S/D and it's the first stop. (you'll want to walk back after lunch! )

It's a 10 minute walk around the rim of the lake. It's a very pretty area!

It is an easy and pleasant walk around the edge of the lake. It is very do-able, and I think worth the walk.
Where are you staying? You can catch a bus from the BC to either MK or AK or DTD and transfer to a bus for your resort to get home after dinner.

This post confused me, so just in case I am not the only one, let me say that B&C is at the Beach Club, which is one direction around the lake from Swan, while the Boardwalk is the other direction around lake from the Swan. From Swan, it's a 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk and less than 10 minutes to B&C. From B&C, it's less than a 10 minute walk to the Boardwalk. I was just worried you might walk over to the Boardwalk and not find B&C there. (This is all probably unnecessary, as I was probably the only one confused, but what the heck.)

I am glad you posted that. I have never been to either the Beaches & Cream or Boardwalk, and was under the ***umption that the Beach Club was at the Boardwalk . I am sure I would have figured it out eventually, but being an extreme over planner I like to know exactly where I am going and what I am doing ahead of time. So thanks!
