How far is the Double Tree Hotel from DL?

Since our flight is arriving late in the day, I didn't want to pay DLR prices our first night.

Just Pricelined a 3 Star Hotel in the Anaheim Area and got the Double Tree Hotel for $50.00 a night.

Great deal, considering their best rate is 149.00 for that night.

How far is it from DL? How long should I expect it to take from there to the GCH parking lot?

I am assuming it is the hotel and not the Guest Suites.

It is about two miles away. It is adjacent to the Block at Orange . We have had several enjoyable stays there Last time we stayed they had a dedicated shuttle - which was reliable and beats the heck out of ART.

If it is the Doubletree Guest Suites (which I doubt - priceline is big on the other property) it is a brisk 10 minute walk away(or 30 minutes by ART )

Should I expect the traffic to be backed up for those two miles on a Monday morning before park opening?

You will like this hotel. I used to work there in the early 80's! Friends recently stayed there and they really enjoyed it. It should only take about 10 minutes to get to DL...you're not going on the freeway. I believe they have a dedicated shuttle either once or twice per hour. The Block at Orange is right next door (used to be called The City shopping center back in the old days).
