How far is Pop from ASmu & is there any chance...

think there's any chance of something opening up at an All Stars before June 21? We have an extra couple in our party now and don't have enough rooms at ASMu They were able to get in at Pop for now. How far is it and is there transportation from there to ASMu?

Any suggestions about how to go about checking, think online is sufficient or should I call every day?

Hi,

No WDW tansportation directly from POP to ASMU You'd have to change at a park or at DTD, or you can take a taxi. If using WDW buses I'd allow at least 45 minutes; if using a taxi about 10-15 minutes. Taxis are pretty much available at all resorts, or the desk can call one for you.

I'd suggest you keep calling, or try a WDW expert travel agent.

Not only is there no direct transportation, Pop isn't close to ASMu either. ASMu is over by AK and Pop is on the other side of the property near CBR.
You should definitely call to check, don't rely on the website. Before we left for our last trip, the website said everything was booked. When we got to the front desk and asked about availability at other resorts, they told me to take my pick. HTH

Thanks for the info. I live so close I've never stayed on site so this is a first. I looked online again just now and it was showing ASMovies this time so I called and had it changed so no matter at least they are close by now for sure!

Try booking on-line. I just changed my resie from AS-Music to PC and added two nights for June 18-24 (6/22 & 23 weren't available late last week when I first made my reservation). I think AS-Movies & Sports were also available tonight, and they were all booked up every time I checked between last Thursday and today.
