Hi, DizneeCM. Parking is about a five minute walk +/-, depending on how far out you have to park.
You can always drop the groceries at the vallet area, and pick them up on your walk back to your villa. The bellman will even bring them to your room.... tip suggested, of course.
The parking situation is one thing that we didn't care for at VWL or @ BWV not that it is terrible but the lot seems to be really old and not kept up very well @ the Lodge just my take on it nothing really to worry about but the walk is a little farther than most resorts.
I don't know about that, especially depending on where you're staying. I guess if you're in a room near the Lodge it could be closer, but if you're down near the dumpster it's quite a hike.

I would probably drop off the groceries and spouse/kids at the area by the bus stop which is located between the lodge and the villas, then go park the car. Then help carry in the groceries on your way back to the villas from the parking lot. That's what we did when we stayed at VWL.
Maybe it's me....I dunno....I pulled up to the main entrance, handed the valet my keys and got a bellman to bring the groceries to the room. Sure it cost me a tip but I honestly cannot see why $5-6 wouldn't be worth it.
