How far is Melbourne (MLB) from WDW?

Seems like flying into MLB is cheaper (for now) than MCO. How far away is that airport from WDW or even Vero Beach?

About 1 hr. 15 mins to 1 1/2 hours.

MLB to Vero Beach is a half-hour to 45 minutes, down US1. During the day, you might want to drive A1A down to Vero Beach -- it's utterly beautiful.

Wow, I can't believe it's cheaper for you to fly into MLB than MCO! We can get better rates to TPA than MCO, but usually don't feel like waisting the time driving. My parents "winter" in Vero Beach, so we have looked into flying into MLB and it's twice the airfare as MCO.

That is very odd. Melbourne has only one airline - Delta - and historically as some of the highest airfares in the US.
