How far is McD's from All-Star Sports?

Ok, so I just noticed there is a McDonald's not too far away from the All-Star resorts. We are staying at Sports for free dining in September. My dd likes to get a "treat" at McD's every once in a while (even though we are on the dining plan), and I was wondering if we can walk over to it from Sports or is it just too far? Does anyone know the hours of operation for this McDonald's?

My DD's love McD's as well! There is one at Downtown Disney that you can take the bus to.

It is too far to walk to, but you can take the bus to DTD. AK also sells McDonalds at Restaurantosaurus!

Can't address the distance to All-Star Sports, but I believe it is open 24 hours. In January, we went there (from SSR) for sundaes at 1am (we had a car). We had gotten home from EMH and everybody was hungry. Kids were thrilled about our late night ice cream run!

I don't know it is to far to walk. It depends on how far you like to walk. It may be a little more than a mile or so up the road. You will pass it every time you come back from a park on the bus. I would look then and see if you feel you can walk it. The one in Downtown Disney is also a good alternative.

This McDonalds that you are talking about is very cool to see. If you get a chance to go there, definately do! The outside of the building is awesome and the inside has large screen tv's near the ceiling that show disney movies!

You can walk to the McDonald's there's a Cast Member parking lot right next to it and those people walk to All Stars for work. I believe the drive-through is open 24 hours.

I personally hoofed it from AsMu but it was a hoof for sure. YES the drive thru is 24 hrs. I believe lobby closes at 11p

you can walk it but I don't think by the time you got back (if you were carrying food back) the food would still be hot. I also don't think that there are sidewalks the whole way.

You can walk. There is CM parking behind the MCd's and they walk it all the time.

I don't know about food being hot.. but it can be done.
