How far is Celebration from Disney?

It's about 10 minutes from the main Disney resort areas. Directions will vary depending on where you are coming from but generally, take World Drive (the road that runs into the MK parking lot and the MK Resort Area) back the other way and follow the signs for US192 east. It will be on your right shortly after you get on 192.

It is close, but I don't think you can spend hours there unless you tour the model homes or eat at one of the restaurants.

You can also rent a Segway there (although you need to reserve at least a day in advance), and there is a movie theater downtown and some touristy stores if you want to browse. There is a fountain that the kids can run through and rocking chairs by the lake. It's very pleasant to buy lemonade or ice cream at the store across the street and spend some time rocking and relaxing. On certain days, you can also take a horse and carriage ride around town. We've spent some time there on several of our trips, and we love it!

i spent "hours " in Celebration last trip....at the hospital i got sick but the cm's at CSR took care of me they drove me to Celebration hospital and came back to pick me up when i was ready, they wouldn't even accept a tip. the second driver got lost so i got a tour of the town LOL, it is a very pretty little place, i had not even known before that it existed.

We rode through Celebration on our last trip. My husband said it looked like "Mayberry". The houses were very nice, not one thing out of place, no garbage cans, etc.
