How far in advance to rent?

After much thought, we have settled on a resort (BWV), room size (GV), and dates (Dec 1-7, 2007). On a side note, thank you all for your helpful feedback. I know we need to find someone with BWV as their home resort willing to rent 464 points. And due to the time of year we are going and recent discussions, it sounds like we need to find someone willing to call and make the reservation day by day (6 days total).

My question is, I am finally getting there =), how far in advance should I start looking for someone to rent from? Our trip is planned for December 1 – 7, 2007. I want to ensure am able to find someone that meets our criteria well before the 11 month window. Should I start looking now or is it too far ahead?

I would probably start looking around October as that would still give you three months before the ressie could be made. Do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Yea, I was thinking about look at the rent/trade board now but I didn't know if someone with points available in 2007 would be looking now. Do you think they would be out there?
