How far in advance do I call for Dec. '05 Reservations?

Hi there! We are planning a trip for next December 2005 and would like to make as many plans as possible ahead of time. I would like to know if making reservations this early for POR is possible (I wouldn't call this week) or should I wait a bit? Also, if I reserve a room at the AAA rate, can I apply any discounts later on that may be better?

Hello Bop, we are planning on going the first full week in December, and as soon as I know which resort we want to stay in, I'm calling! The rates are out, so I assume you can book. We are torn between WL and POR, we love POR and the prices, but I want to stay at WL at X-mas time, I hear it's beautiful especailly with all the lights. I'm not sure how the discounts work as far as being able to call and cancel one discount to get another. Maybe you can get both! Good luck and maybe we'll bump into each other down there!

You can book now and just have your TA keep an eye on the discounts for you. Shouldn't be a problem.

We are trying to decide between Thanksgiving and Christmas 05. We will be there in early October so I guess after that we can come home and plan our next trip! So, if I book several months out, and then see a code for a better price, I can get the better deal? Thanks for the info, now I'm getting excited!!!

We are going the first week of December next year as well--we will be staying at the Boardwalk again but this time I am saving extra to stay concierge. DH said this will be our last trip for awhile because we need to see other things (not gonna happen!) Anyway, I booked as soon as I could and have even gotten email responses from concierge. It is never too early!

I already have my reservation for CSR 12/3=12/11. You can have a code applied to your reservation, as long as the code is available for your resort and room type. You may have to adjust your reservation for a code.
