How far in advance can you make a dining resi? I believe it's 180 days out but I am not sure and we want to make reservation at be our guest it would be the first time we go there.

Yes, you can make reservations 180 days out. Resort guests (with reservation confirmation number) can make reservations for the first 10 days of their trip at the 180 mark.

For example, starting today (5/4/13), you make reservation for 10/31/13.

Yes, anyone can make reservations 180 days in advance of the day they want to eat at a particular restaurant.

If you are staying at a Disney owned resort you can take advantage of 180 + 10 meaning that 180 days before your arrival date you can make reservations for your check in date plus the first 10 days of your vacation.
