How far in advance can I reserve ?

I am new to all of this and am thinking of trying to trade some of my Fairfield points for DVC points for Oct or Nov of 2007. Am I too early to try to reserve a DVC unit for then?

Members can reserve 11 months prior to desired check out date at their home resort and 7 months prior to check out for a non-home resort.

Do your Fairfield points trade through Interval or RCI? Disney only trades through Interval. I think there are only a few Fairfields that will trade with Interval. Most trade through RCI.

If you can't exchange through Interval and try for a Disney resort, Bonnet Creek is a Fairfield property and is a very nice resort from what our friend's (who own Fairfield points) have told us. Fairfield's Bonnet Creek is close to Disney's Caribbean Beach resort and Pop Century. Here's a website with some nice pictures of Bonnet Creek:
