How far from OKW to POFQ or SSR? Can I walk it?

I'm staying at OKW for the first time this October and was wondering, can we walk from OKW to either POFQ or SSR/DTD? I'm thinking there are sidewalks to both, but have no idea how long either walk would be. I know there are the boats, but we walk daily, and would rather walk than ride a boat, if it's doable. TIA!

Yes, OKW and SSR are next to each other; but it is not something I would try to walk. Both resorts are rather large. I don't know if there is a path between the two or not. I believe you can take the boat from each to DTD. You can walk from SSR to DTD by a path through Congress Park, but to me the walk is a little long. The one time I did walk to DTD because the bus was taking too long to come, I told myself I wouldn't do it again because you then have to walk around DTD and that was too tiring.

You can walk from OKW to SSR on the path to DTD. You cannot walk to POFQ from OKW or SSR. If you wanted to go to POFQ, you'd have to go to DTD and then take a boat to POFQ from DTD (different boat stop, though - POFQ loads near Rainforest Cafe; OKW loads near Pleasure Island). Or you could take a bus to DTD and another bus to POFQ. Or you could drive your own vehicle.

But there is no place to walk to POFQ from OKW or SSR.

We love the walk from OKW to SSR. Depending where you are at OKW it can be a very long walk. Although you can walk it at night, be warned that the majority of the path "between" the two resorts is mostly unlit. As you approach the bridge/path to the THV's there are lights, as well as after crossing over the "tee-box" on LBV golf course near OKW.

The path from/to OKW is in the back located between buildings 55 & 54.

It is 0.93 miles from OKW building 55 to Cirque and SSR is little shorter walk along Trumbo Canal. Just cross over the canal to SSR using the bridge near the practice green. The walkway is not lighted and is closed after dark. Be sure to watch for eagles and osprey in the trees along the canal and river otter in the canal while walking to SSR. You will walk past the THVs and alonside the golf course on your way. It is a nice walk over a paved walkway.

There are no sidewalks or pathways between OKW and POFQ so that is not really an option.
