How far do you travel

Haven't made the trip yet (always flown in the past) but it is 894 miles according to google and I am planning to try it next year. We have a 34 foot class A

from just north of Atlanta it's 470 miles in a class C...
the drive back seems longer tho :)

Most us are from a good distance away and how lucky are those of you who are in state! When we finally get a TT, I swear it's gonna happen eventually, we will be traveling from La. Between 760-800 miles. I love reading this board. It makes my day worlds better!

I am just outside St Louis about 1010 miles. The trip we just got home from I traveled a total of 2300 miles, $800.00 in fuel 215 gallons of diesel at about 11MPG. Towing a 30 TT with a 2003 dodge ram 2500.

It is 915 miles from Ashland KY. To the Fort. Usually break it into 2 days on the way down due to leaving after work around 4 pm. We stay at Stockbridge GA. south of Atlanta on the way down. We usually drive straight thru on the way home.

We travel 986 miles from Ohio to the Fort towing a 30 ft 5th wheel. We break it up into a 2 1/2 day down (stopping in GA our first day and Ocala our second day), and a 2 day drive home. The drive there is always a lot more exciting than the drive home!

From Denver it's 1,845 miles towing our popup twice and tent camped several times

We are about 635miles. We either tent camp or we rent a popup from local Orlando companies. Eventually we will have our own!

Just under 900 miles one way to FW. Used to have a 38' Monaco, now pulling a 40' 5th wheel.

We come from North Central MN. About 1700 miles one way. We have a 35 ft motorhome. About 27 hours of drive time. We do it in 8 Hours, 12 hours, 7 hours home to the fort. Give or take.
We could probably do it in two days if we left early in the morning. But once I am off work and have the Fort in my Sights we are leaving, so we always leave late afternoon.
I envy those of you within one day drive. I might have to get a compass and draw a 500 mile circle around the fort and look for a place to live that isn't in the water.

I'll be coming from Kyle,TX (10 minutes south of Austin). 1,140 miles each way. Not towing anything.
Won't be making the drive till June 2015 so we will see how it goes :)

We travel 1300 miles (from Wisconsin) to tent camp at the fort. Only 316 days till our next visit!

Before Florida-1099 miles :(

Now-146 miles :cool1:  :woohoo: pixiedust: in DW's motorhome with me driving

I am so jealous of all of you. We live in Washington State, just outside of Seattle, about 3,140 +/- miles away from FW. So at this point we can't just load up the RV and head to FW because DH and I just don't have enough vacation hours saved up to do the trip there and back and still have time to enjoy WDW. So we'll be flying in for our first stay at the cabins in December. I have a feeling we'll love it though and will plan to rent an RV next time.

Eventually, we'd love to take the time and do the drive in our own RV. Right now we have a 35' Itasca Suncruiser that we use all over Washington State. We have tentative plans to take it down the coast to Disneyland next summer.

And I would love to have the time to drive out west and explore your side of the country!

We travel 859 miles from Proctorville, Ohio to Disney Fort Wilderness Campground. We drive in a class c 31 ft. We usually drive straight thru but if I drive I will stop and rest for an hour or two.
