How far away from WDW is Universal?

Hi. Planning our first trip next year. We'd be staying seven days. I looked at Universal and there's alot of things my family would like. (Dr. Seuss, Spiderman, wizard of oz) So how far away is Universal from WDW? Would it be worth it to only buy a 5 day pass for WDW and use one day at Universal or no? We've got 6 people going. 5 adults, and a 4 year old. I know we'd have to buy a one day ticket to Universal and it'd be about $70 a person. Should I just not try to fit so much in on this trip? Ha. Anyhow if anyone can tell me time wise how far away Universal is, I'd appreciate it. Oh. How far is Sea World also? We might have to make another trip just to cover all the stuff in Florida!

There is a Universal and Sea World forum on this board.. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see a menu. It's about 1/2 down the list.

In actuality, Universal is only about 15 minutes away from WDW. It's only a few exits off of I4 or there is a back way using Palm Parkway.

Seaworld is close as well, maybe only 10-15 also.

There are tons of deals for tickets out there for Universal. I'd personally buy the multi day pass for Uni--it's so much cheaper than a one day ticket and you aren't so rushed to do it all.
