How Far Are You From WDW?

I am from South Louisiana just a little south of New Orleans and it's about 700 Miles which takes about 10 1/2 Hours - By plane it takes us 1 1/2 Hours - I kinda prefer to drive - I think that driving adds to the excitement!

Only 6 hours as long as I fly. If I drive it might take a little longer. I'm not to far out of Seattle, Wa. I currently have AP's at USF, SW and BG and have alot of days on my MYW tickets at Disney so it is not hard to figure out where I spend my vacations. :moped:

4,119 miles from Glasgow to Orlando. It also feels like 4,119 miles when we're travelling to WDW ........ but seems more like 10,000 miles coming home.

That's about 18 hours travelling time this year (Glasgow/Heathrow/Washington/MCO) although if we were flying direct it's about 9 hours.

Roughly a 2 hour drive for us. Although my personal record is 1 hour and 40 minutes :woohoo:

My wife was sleeping, of course. :rolleyes1

She doesn't care for my interstate driving. Or any of my driving for that matter. :confused3

According to Mapquest it is 2978 miles from my front door to Fort Wilderness. I guess we won't be driving the RV - LOL

About 3900 miles for us, we live in Lancashire, England.

8 and half hours flight (approx), on our way again in 7 weeks time :thumbsup2

TOO FAR!!!! We are up in Southern Connecticut. Its a three hour plane ride/20 hour car drive. We haven't driven to the World though

14 hours to LAX and 5 hours to WDW. not so bad, though. we actually went to Argentina this year that route (instead of the short way) - syd-lax-washington dc-buenos aires.

You should try taking some of the interior roads (17, 27, 60, etc.). It cuts out a lot of miles and it's a lot less stressful. US 27 will dump you out on I-4 about 10 miles west of WDW.

And a big plus is you always have rest rooms available. :thumbsup2

In West Texas it is a 27 hour drive to Orlando. We had much rather fly (2.5) and then be rested when we get there. Our next visit is still 342 days away. Sure wish we were closer in both distance and time.

We live in suburban Buffalo, NY - so it's a long drive - but only 2 1/2 hours by plane! Going in less than one month! :cool1:

We are about 18 hours away if we drive straight through.
I wish that I could just move to Orlando and work at Disney but after talking with someone that works there, I know it would not be enough to pay the bills. :furious:

One can dream...... :cloud9:

Were from Cumbria, England a 7 hour flight, but its the 5 hour time difference that's the killer.

From where I am in Texas it is about 17 1/2 hours hopefully it will be shorter than that this Saturday, that's when we leave for 9 days at ASMo.

We're in Souther Calif. so I'm guessing that would be around a 30+ hour drive. Its a 5 & 1/2 hour flight with transfer and adding the 3 hour time difference means we always spend the 1st day just travelling. We are leaving the house at 5:00 a.m. this time and we still won't be checking into the hotel at Disney until about 8:00 P.M. Florida time.

According to mapquest 20 hours and 31 mins. The way I drive (Mrs Leadfoot!), 18 hours. If DH bugs me 19 hours...lol

We will be flying down it will be about 4 1/2 hours with the one hour layover.

Lori

Too far away! :guilty:

According to Mapquest we are 3164 miles away and it would take 46 hours to drive to WDW.

We are 1174 miles or 2 hrs 45 min flight :dumbo: from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Orlando, Florida.
