How far apart can ADR's be?

I have read that Disney may delete your reservation if you have made more than one ADR for a meal. My question is how close together do these ADR's have to be? For instance, what if I wanted to eat at a restaurant and then schedule another ADR for a couple of hours later for dessert at another restaurant? Would these reservations be deleted?

I've never heard of that happening. I've got to imagine that as long as you bring your ADR confirmation number with you to the restaurant that they'll seat you even if it isn't in their book.

I've read here before that people have been TOLD by a CM that ADRs COULD get cancelled for double booking. Has anyone actually had it happen though?

It seems like there was a thread where they were actually cancelled - but I may be wrong.

I don't have time today to do a search for it.

If you don't get a specific answer, I'll try to search tomorrow.

It was me that was told by a CM that if you make 2 ADR's for the SAME time, and they "notice" it they will cancel one of them without asking, or depending on the person they will cancel both.

It's never happened to me personally, and since I wasn't meaning to make two at the same time, it was an accident, I canceled one because I didn't want to get to Disney and have no ADR for that day. I'm glad I called to confirm my time/dates for all my ADR's!! Everyone should do that, just in case!

But in my opinion you should have NO problem making an ADR a couple hours away from each other. Even it was for the same restaurant! You might want to ask just to be sure, But I don't see why they would cancel one that is at 2 different times.

We just got back a few days ago and in the time leading up to our trip I had 2 ADRs for the same day at different times (at Le Cellier). I had it that way for a couple of weeks until we could decide which time would work best. I called to cancel one of the ADRs a few days before our trip and had no trouble with the one we kept. BTW - great meal! :thumbsup2

I did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

It's very possible that I'm wrong, but I thought I read a thread where someone said they were told by a CM that it could happen, and that someone replied that theirs had been cancelled.
