How Far a walk from Cinema Hall to Mighty Ducks?

Please help, Does anyone know how far a walk it is from Mighty Ducks to Cinema Hall?

Going with a disabled child and his friend. My son is sick and gets ill within minutes. I am having doubts about staying in Mighty Ducks. The boys will be just 11 years old and also love arcades and pool bars for soda's . They also like some independence. Will Being at Mighty Ducks, put them away from everything?

Should I pay the difference in price and let them stay closer to amneities? Also does anyone know if any of the fully accessible rooms face the fantasia pool?

We stayed in the Mighty Ducks section in May of 2005 and it's an easy walk (by that I mean a pretty straight shot, not a confusing maze) and it took us about 7 minutes to walk from our room on the back side of the Ducks section to Cinema Hall.

if your staying in the mighty ducks area we found it quicker to cross the street and use the all star music food court and bus stops it will knock about 3 min off your walk

If you have any doubts at all, I would pay the extra for the preferred room, and book it in advance, Once you get there, if you change your mind, you may not be able to "upgrade." You will also worry less if they are walking less distance for sodas, etc. on their own.

I book with the 40% offer. I called to see if I could switch to preferred and pay the difference. They said no, that I would have to pay regular rate of room! They checked to see if rooms were available and they are. I don't understand why disney wouldn't want more $$ for preferred.
Anybody elase with the 40% room offer experience this by switching to preferred?

I usually would not say this, but I would pay the difference. It isn't a bad walk (We stayed there in 2003) but if it is late or raining (happened to us) the walk back might be a little much for your group. It is one of the furthest areas from the bus stop. Have a great trip.

Have you tried a different value resort? THey may not have any more preferred rooms with a discount at THAT resort. If concerned, I wouldn't hesitate to ask about other value resorts. Also KEEP CALLING, espeically 7:30 a.m. EST Monday mornings for cancellations and see what opens up!
