How extra money needed when on dining plan??

We are going in November surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday and are using the dining plan for the first time. We love to eat and are looking forward to not eating hamburgers and fries for 11 days.
My question is how much money to plan for food which will not be included in the plan? We eat breakfast in the room, unless a breakfast is planned. We may want to order extra sides, drinks, etc. with some of our meals. I'm thinking maybe $10-$20 extra a day for the extras such as coffee or water and also some extra for tips, as only 18% is included and we always tip 20% or greater.
Any thoughts??
Thanks

$10-$20 should be pleanty. There will be more food than you care to talk about at the TS & CS places as well. I went with the unsure notion that there would not be enough food on plates at the restaurants in DW...WRONG! You will be amazed...watch and see...
;)

That should be plenty. We've planned to pay out of pocket for one breakfast and one dinner (both counter service) since we'll be out of credits and the occasional snack and drink. I told each person to budget $100 for our 10 day trip.

There is more than enough food. Adult beverages are pricey though. That'd where most of our extra spending money went, and we did not do any big drinking.

I was going to add what the previous poster mentioned -

that sounds like enough money unless you enjoy your "adult beverages". Those can get more expensive, coupled with any additional tipping you may want to do, you may want to beef up that budget.

If you aren't planning on many beverages of that sort, you have planned just fine.

I second this!! I can put down some food, but at TS places the apps are pretty good size and after an entree and drink, I couldn't finish dessert at times. TS meals usually kept me full for quite a while.

CS was a perfect amount of food.

My Gf and I probably spent a total of $20-$30 the whole 10 night stay last year for extra sodas/waters/snacks and that was it. We actually found that we should have used more snack credits. We each had 2 or 3 left over at the end of trip.

Last year my son and I spent about $12 off the plan: one pina colada at Ohana and one funnel cake at Epcot. This year, we ordered some water delivered to the room because we used too many snack credits on bottled water last year.

I agree with others, but did want to mention that you can use your CS credits at food courts at other resorts to avoid the hamburger/fries dilemma. Hopefully you have ALL of your ADRs in order since you were specific that you wanted a variety of eats. I think you are on track for the extra money, you should be fine.
