How easy to switch at 7mo

How easy is it to switch resorts at 7mo, let’s say in mid Nov, possible 1bd? I know it’s a busier time (week before Thanksgiving), and that 1bd are usually easier to come by than studios. Just curious what other people’s experiences changing resorts at 7mo mark was?

Not too bad if you're not actually overlapping Thanksgiving....

But general rules of thumb:

- "View" rooms will have more availability, cheaper "standard" rooms will be harder to come by..
-One bedrooms will have the most availability.
-"special" rooms like Riviera Tower Studios, Animal Kingdom Value rooms, Animal Kingdom Concierge rooms, will mostly be gone before the 7 month mark
-Epcot area resorts, specifically BWV and BCV, can be difficult at 7 months during Epcot festivals
- And obviously, holiday periods will be harder, Run Weekends, etc, are harder.

For the most part, if you're looking for a 1 bedroom room with an upcharge view at 7 months, you will typically have options. Looking for a standard studio, your options will be far more limited.

thanks for the very detailed response! It would be the week before Thanksgiving, so hoping that would help. Would prefer BWV or BCV, but I know those may be difficult (specifically standard view). Thinking garden view maybe doable.
