...is too early to book our Disneymoon? we have never ben to WDW before (although we can do DL in our sleep ) so i am just curious about what everyone thinks about when to book, where to book, where to eat,etc...i'm new!

I usually book out trips around one year out. I think that gives me plenty of time to plan, make our ADRs, pay the trip off, and get time off from work. I know some people on here will book a trip a few months out.. I just would be a nervous wreck!

We are actually staying on the cheap for our wedding/honeymoon. We are staying at the AllStar Movies. It is one of our favorites and we will have our 16 year old dd with us.. so it won't exactly be a romantic trip LOL

For a Disneymoon I would suggest booking whenever you can. The earlier the better, just so that you can get exactly what you want for resort/room. Also you'll have plenty of time to plan meals and other things to do.

i booked mine about 11 months out and had no problem, and it gave me lots of time to plan/think about all the little details instead of being rushed!

I would say booking about a year out is a good idea. Let us know more of what you are looking for in a honeymoon so that we can give you advice on the other topics you listed. For Instance - do you want to stay in the best hotel with the best view etc? Or do you prefer to save money? As for places to eat - do you want casual sit down dinners, romantic dinner? There are so many options and everyone here would love to lend some opinions!

i'm not even really sure what we want anymore lol! i was looking into a week at one of the moderates but DF wants to upgrade so now i have to refigure the entire plan! darn...more time on the Disboards! i know we are def. staying for a week and we want to put as much as we possibly can into that week since we have never been to WDW before. as far as food goes i would like to try and get to some of the nicer sit down places but is not really necessary i guess...aw who am i kidding i want to do it ALL it intimidates me very much not really even knowing where to begin planning...like i said before i know Disneyland like the back of my hand but WDW...scary!

Since for the intimate ceremony you need to stay 4 nights, we booked the disneymoon right before booking the intimate (about one year out). At first we just booked those 4 days and then as we figured out what kind of vacation time we'd have, etc. we added more days to the package. I did this through small world vacations, they've been sooo great and sooo helpful to work with! http://www.wdwvacations.com/ DF's mom ended up booking through them too!

Here are my suggestions - things that fit me but feel free to ignore anything i have to say!
If you do plan to stay with a moderate resort, I would go with Carribean Beach Resort or Port Orleans Riverside. They are both romantic in different ways. CBR is beaches and such where as POR has the charm of like Gone With the Wind.
If you decide to upgrade to a delux resort, My choice would be the Wilderness Lodge. Its rustic and you can hop on a boat to MK. The monorail Resorts (Poly, Grand Floridian and Contemporary) are nice too but for ME there is just something about WL.
Restaraunts - if you want to ultimate romantic meal, you must book at Cinderella's Royal Table at Epcot. You have to book as far out as possible but that will be worth every penney. The Crystal Palace is nice as well.
At MGM - the Hollywood Brown Derby is the ultimate. But there are lots of fun themed ones that you should look into as well.
For Epcot - You have all the countries to choose from. Whatever cuisine you enjoy, its most likely there!
