On 3 night cruise. Do I need to get in a line as soon as I board or do I have time for lunch first?

Since there are fewer spots for Palo on a three-night cruise, one would conceivably need to be there pretty early. I don't think I'd chance eating lunch first if I was interested in a particular time.

After all, lunch will still be there when you're done, it takes only a couple minutes to make the reservation and the line moves quickly.

On the three night..reservations don't start until one..so the castmembers direct you to the dining room to eat first. As long as you head over a few minutes before one you are good to go.

We had no problems at all making the reservations for palo on our three night.

Enjoy!

Have they changed things .....?

On our last three day on the Wonder.....(July 2002)

We walked right on the boat and they did the ressies for Palo right away in Wavebands. (The big lounge that they have 80's night in.) I'm pretty sure we were one of the first hundred or so on the boat . It was probably around noon- noonthirty'ish.

Or have they returned to the stone age of the big lineup....?

I don't know about the Wonder (we didn't do them when we took that cruise in 2000), but we were on the Magic last week and, even with more nights to reserve, we couldn't get a ressie by the time we got in line. We went to lunch first and up there by 2:00, but they were already booked! And the brunch was slim pickins, but we did manage to get one for that.
