How early to get to Fantasmic in Sept?

We will be there mid Sept (week following Labor Day). I would like to try to get to the 8:30 showing of Fantasmic our first night (MK closing at 6). I don't want to do the dinner pkg because I heard it rains a good deal in Sept, plus I want the freedom to eat where I would like to. How early should we get to the theatre? Would an hour early be sufficient?

Actually the theatre may not even fill. I've seen it twice, once in late Oct, the other in early Dec, and both times it was only 70% full! Just my luck, as I did the Dinner Package both times.

I went last year end of Sept and It was full we had to stand in the standing room only slot and arrived 20 minutes before. I say at least an hour before. use that time to relax and wind down

We went last sept ...........the week after labor day and I would say as long as you get there 30-40 min early...you'll be safe. We arrived about 30 mins early and were in a side section pretty close to the front.
