We would like to see Beauty & the Beast Live when we are at DHS on Monday, July 21st. We want to go to the 10:30 show (earliest one that day, just checked WDW official site). How early should we arrive at the theater where the show is? Is there really a bad seat in there? I'm determined to see this...this will be our 4th family vacation to WDW and I always say we will go see it, but we still haven't. So it is a must-do on this trip!

3- So it is a must-do on this trip!

1- Rule-of-Thumb timing, arrive about a half-hour early.

2- No, but center section, about half-way down in the house (a row or two down from the audio booth) is a nice spot.

3- It's a very good show! We've seen it well over a dozen times.
Have fun!

I say the same thing every time...and havent made it yet! But I am still motivated and will try again...though the Frozen events are throwing off my entire DHS day! LOL! Hope you make it!

Thank you! Do you think that with a 9am park opening, an hour will be enough to sign up the boys for the Jedi Training Camp (upon rope drop), ride Star Tours and ride the Great Movie Ride? If so, the 10:30 show works perfectly for us to arrive half an hour early.

I have also said the same thing about the Hall of Presidents and we still haven't gone...last time I saw that was in 1989 when I was 12! That's on our schedule too, as my boys requested it...they love learning about the presidents at school and when I told them about Hall of Presidents they were very excited!

2 minutes. So you can sit in back and get the heck out of there right away.;)

Hahahaha!!! That's too funny! ;)

Our FP+ window for TSMM opens at 11:20, so no rush to get out, but it would be nice not to have to fight the crowds leaving.

In all honesty, it isn't that hard to get out. It's not like leaving F! whatsoever. We do purposely sit in the back rows for that thing!

Thank you!

Do you think that with a 9am park opening, an hour will be enough to

A- sign up the boys for the Jedi Training Camp (upon rope drop),

B- ride Star Tours and

C- ride the Great Movie Ride?

D- If so, the 10:30 show works perfectly for us to arrive half an hour early.

A- 15-20 min. (including walking there, line for sign-up)

B- 15-30 min. (including line-wait)

C- 25-40 min. (including line-wait)

D- So… it's iffy. You'll have to see what you think about waiting for GMA as you approach its entrance.

We may.... or may not use HOP for mid day naps... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I should have added...we have a 9:00-10:00 FP+ window for Star Tours. Will that reduce the time estimate you posted?

We could always do Great Movie Ride on our second DHS day, or at a different time. I am definitely seeing Beauty & the Beast!

Our family loves B&B show. Our youngest has Belle as her favorite (or is it Elsa now...) Give your self at least 15 minutes to get a seat - unless you want to be real close and I would say 30 minutes. We got popcorn and drink to enjoy.

Jedi, Star Tours with FP are good. have to see about line at GMR whether to do that then or wait. Should have enough time.

Enjoy your trip.

We saw it in the afternoon. It was a nice break from the constant (not severe) rain. They have lots of FP+ for it, which we grabbed as our 4th or 5th. That allowed us to take our time getting to the outdoor theater.

Even at a crowd level 10, wait time for GMR should only be 10 minutes around 9:30. So assuming JTA takes 20, and you have a FP for Star Tours, you should be able to get in line for GMR around 9:30-9:40 and be off by 10. What are your other fast passes for?

But keep in mind that the GMR is about 20 minutes long. So if you're pushed back just 5 or 10 minutes, and the wait is 15 or 20 minutes rather than 10, then you're cutting it close.

We have never gotten to BATB more than 10-15 minutes early. Sometimes we've shown up 5-10 minutes before show time. We always wind up in the back, but center. It's not that huge. As long as you aren't totally in a corner you will be fine and be able to see well.

Sounds great! We also have a FP+ for TSMM at 11:20-12:20, but we plan to arrive for the earliest FP+ time of our window! since we have a 12:05 ADR at 50s. Our third FP+ is for disney junior live, at 10-something, but that was only to add a third one. We were originally going to go to it, but the only character my boys re really into is Jake, and we are doing breakfast at H&V another day so we will see him there. I wanted to get that third FP+ for BATB but it's in the same tier as TSMM.
