How early should I be at the gate for EE for Hagrid's?

I'll be staying in USO the first week in November. I would love to ride Hagrid's. Just how early should I plan to be at the gate for EE into the park? And how long should I expect the wait time to be once in line for the ride? Thanks.

Would like to know also. I had been hearing 60 minutes, which should be better than hitting it at park close, unless of course it goes down in the morning. Lately, however, it looks like it has been up for EE nearly every day.

if it is a Saturday - get to the gates 45 minutes prior to EE. If you fast walk straight to Hagrids and it is open/operating normally, you will be through in less than 20 minutes. we are usually already in line for VC after riding Hagrid by 25 after..

When I did early park admission in June, I was physically at the gate around 7:10-15 am and was one of the first people to ride. I was on and off so fast that I was able to do Forbidden Journey, Velocicoaster and hop on single rider Hulk by park open.

If you want to be among the first in the line - say, a less than 20 minute wait - then 60 minutes is good.

If you're willing to get into a line with a wait time of 25 to 35 minutes then 45 minutes is good.

Staying on property you get early entry so the wait time once in line might be less; under 10 minutes.

Went on Friday from Cabana Bay
6:50: in line for bus, five people in front of us.
6:56: bus arrives
7:02: drop off at park.
7:11: at gate. One person in front of us.
7:50: gates open, brisk walk to ride entrance, walk on to Hagrid’s with no wait.

So, EE definitely worked for us.

I get on the first bus from Cabana Bay (7am) then get in line as soon as I get there at the gates.

same and added bonus is that Hogsmeade is still pretty empty after this a good time to explore and do breakfast at three broomsticks!

We arrived 40 minutes before EE and were three families back in the tap styles, and part of the first group to walk onto the ride. This was in April 2022, during Easter Spring break. I think we got to the tap styles at 6:20 for a 7am EE.

did you run, walk briskly, light jog? LOL i have some people in my party this upcoming time that are very anti-run

I find the wait for Hagrid's is long in the morning. We usually wait until right before closing to jump in line. The lini is usually 45 minutes or less and I love riding it at night.
