How early should I arrive on check-in day?

A lot of people around here seem to arrive at about 7:30, since they usually start early around 8 o'clock.

Is that a normal occurrence (starting early), or just a once every so often thing?

I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on arriving at 7:30 sharp. I hear the earlier you get there, the quicker you get through check-in, casting, etc.

We just checked out DD in on Jan. 6. The stated time was 9. We got there at 7:30 and there were already people waiting. We were told they would start letting people in at 8:30, but it was actually 8:00 when they opened the gates.

I arrived at 8:30 and I got through pretty fine. I didn't get to see my apartment before casting, but whatever. It's a busy day no matter what, so I'd say arrive before 9 whenever you want. They do a pretty good job moving people through, so getting there after whenever they start moving people will mean you won't be standing around for long.

I've been able to start at 8am for every one of my CPs. I do recommend arriving early (it gets everything out of the way).

Show up early, early, early! My roomate and I showed up at 7 and we were about 9th in line, some had been there since 530 am..., but to me it was worth being up early to get in and where I wanted to be. :)
