How Early in the AM Do I Need to Wake Up?

So my 60 day FP+ window opens on Sunday morning. The trick for me is that since I'm on the west coast, it opens up at 4:00am.

So if I want to get a FP+ for attractions such as 7 Dwarfs Mine Train or Frozen Ever After, do I need to wake up around 3:55am to be ready to go as soon as the system opens up or am I okay to take care of my FP+ reservations at a sane time of morning?

This will be a solo trip, so I only have to worry about myself and I have a 7 day park hopper. I'm running the Dark Side 10K and 1/2 Marathon, so aside from the days affected by race weekend, I'm pretty flexible on when I experience the attractions.

If you're really flexible and don't mind FPs for the evenings, you can wait a little bit. You are traveling around Spring Break; the runDisney events and the SW celebration are that same time period.

That's good. The first 2 park days will end early on account of the race. That day before the 1/2 will likely be just the afternoon. In that sense, I like the FP+. Gives me a chance to have some rides to do even with the late start in the parks of a race day.
