How early for Hojo or Park Vue reservations?

We are planning a trip the week of June 20. We have reservations at the Camelot Inn and Suites for a family suite. It works for us (as it has in the past) because it has plenty of room, and a table and chairs to eat at (we bring all of our food). I would like to try Hojo's, or Park Vue next time. I tried to get suites at both places for this trip, but by end of Feb they already had no family suites available! So how early for a summer reservation do you have to arrange for a room at some of these hotels? I'm okay with the Camelot, just thought it would be nice to try something new...that was walking distance.

If the entertainment rate is available during your dates, I believe it is 50% off, which is $59 a night. Here are the current dates that this special rate is available: http://www.hojoanaheim.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14
You'll note there aren't really many (if any) dates open during the summer, so this deal won't really work for you if you're going then.

You'll have to produce an Entertainment Card when you check-in. The only catch is that they recently changed their cancellation policy, so if you book a room with that special rate, you can no longer cancel without paying a penalty! Here's the new cancellation policy:

"Due to the high demand of our "Retro Discount" we have implemented a non cancel-able policy on these reservations to prevent "date hoarding" by making multiple tentative reservations.

* Retro Discount room reservations are charged at checkout.
* RD reservations cancelled prior to the arrival date will be charged 1 night's charge.
* If you add or subtract nights from a reservation (changes) we will not charge a fee.
* Mixed rate reservations will revert to the standard 48 hour cancellation policy
* Additional RD days may be added as they become available. "

I booked a suite at PVI in Oct 2010 for June 21-28 2011. In Jan I was able to add the 29th on to our reservation to take advantage of better airfare.

BWPPI still had mini suites avail as recently as January of this year for June for our dates.
