How early does the monorail start running?

Hi. I want to go to Chef Mickey's when they open for breakfast, 7am... but will the monorail be running before 7am?

If believe the Resort Monorail starts at 6:30 AM.

I've always read 7:00 am although the monorails may be getting in position, testing, etc. before that.

1) Unless staying GF or Poly, take a cab.
2) If not, you will be late for 7:00am at Chef Mickey's.
3) The monorails start pulling out at 6:45am.
4) They actually are "running" just before 7:00am.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but as it's related and some other folk might like the answer too..

Do they still run early morning resort buses to get you to those 8am character breakfasts? Naturally the CM I spoke to was a mine of useless information and said no.

I believe it depends on the bus driver since it's not an official policy. So if you have an ADR at Chef Mickey's some bus drivers will just drop you off at the Magic Kingdom and others might take the time and drop you at the Contemporary.

:yes: - ours dropped us at the Contemporary. If he'd dropped us at MK, it would have been a 5 minute walk to Contemporary.
