How early does Genie+ fill up?

Wondering if Genie+ is running out of wait time bookings by mid afternoon or at all recently? (Do we need to get to the park early to use Genie+ or if we get there late are we out of luck with Genie+ because it's all booked up? Does RotR book up early?
Just wondering if it's worth it.

You can look on the Tip Board on the Disneyland app to check LL availability. There seemed to be plenty of availability when we were there a couple of weeks ago.

G+LL seem to be available most of the day for most attractions. Space Mountain and Indy push out somewhat quickly, but not terribly quickly.
For ILL, ROTR does regularly sell out by/before mid day. The others (WS/RSR) typically remain available. Keep in mind that these three attractions are ala carte purchases and NOT included with G+.

If attractions are your thing, it is worth it. On the surface, it works as advertised. If you are willing to spend more time on your phone you can min/max it by using the refresh trick as well as fishing for MEPs (Multiple Experience Passes are often given when you have an attraction booked that goes down). Using these two "advanced" techniques can help you reduce your wait between attractions as well as give you a way to ride your favorites more than once.

Yesterday at 6 pm space could be booked for 10:15, if that helps. My sib had G+, not me.

Most G+ rides (some top tier like Indy excluded) but also non-G+ rides (Peter Pan excluded)! We used one of ours on Alice, for example.

We're just back and used G+ each day while park hopping. It killed me to pay that much for it but it was really invaluable as my family is not willing to stand more than 20 min in a line. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the availability lasted for even the Eticket rides. The return times progressed really slowly and we had lots of choice until about 6 pm at night. I was all set to try fishing to collect some MEPs but there were rarely any rides down during our stay (except for ROTR, of course - that ride is so stressful and annoying!)

No worries! Hit Ctrl + F and search for Genie+. The first chart is hard to read but click the blue bottom below it that says last month avg (labeled). That gives actual return times and when they sold out (if they did).

Most G+ rides (some top tier like Indy excluded) but also non-G+ rides (Peter Pan excluded)! We used one of ours on Alice, for example.

Basically the top tier is Matterhorn, Indy, Space Mountain, and Toy Story Midway Mania. If you get an MEP for one of these going down, it will be good on all G+ plus non G+ except Peter Pan. If you get an MEP for any other attraction, it is good for any G+ except for those four, as well as non G+ except Peter Pan.

Naturally all Paid LL are excluded for both.
