How early do you start decorating for Christmas?

Weekend after Thanksgiving and it comes down on New Years Day (or the closest weekend).

All I have to do is open the cabinet and pull out the movable shelf on which stands a fully decorated tree. So glad I thought to dedicate valuable storage space to this idea. Makes my life easier. Still, have no idea if I’ll be here for the December holidays so time will tell re: the exact date.

I'm fully decorated inside except for the real Christmas tree we cut the day after Thanksgiving! Outside lights still need to be hung!

I fully decorated this past weekend. Halloween went out Saturday morning, and Christmas came in.

I'm on theme park schedule! Or maybe even a little ahead.

Around the middle of December. I might put the wreath on the front door a little sooner, when I take the harvest decor down.

....as late as possible. One year we did decorate the day/weekend directly after Thanksgiving, but I was DONE with all that before Christmas even arrived.

....actually, I begin the Christmas decorating in small chunks [and DEFINITELY after Thanksgiving, since I decorate for Thanksgiving]. For instance, I give my bathrooms a thorough cleaning and decorate accordingly. The next project is the kitchen/dining room, but the actual decorating is minimal, not "hit-you-over-the head"....my trees don't go up until around 2 weekends before Christmas.

I save a lot of time by not doing that at all. Bah, Humbug!
