How early do you need to show up for CP?

We're going to the CP on Saturday night. The kicker is that my DH will not be able to leave work until probably 4:30 at the earliest. Usually, it's about 30 minutes from his work to main gate - on a weekday. As I'm lurking, it's occurring to me that there might be a big line to get into DL. We might be okay on the line issue since we'll be 'guests' of Disney and can probably go the complementary line rather than use our AP's.

For you past CP goers, how much time should we allow once we're at the main gate? I really don't want to be late.

You all will be fine. I don't know what kind of view you will have for the parade, but you will be in the gates well enough in advance before it begins. Have fun!
