How early do you arrive for shows?

So, how early does everyone show up for shows and performances such as: Fantasmic, Aladdin Musical Spectacular, Electrical Parade, Parade of Dreams, Dreams Come True Fireworks, etc. - all the big stuff!

We've never had issues with the Electrical Parade, seems like there's always a good spot available. For Fantasmic, my mother has MS and travels in a scooter, so we usually see it from the Handicap section - we arrive about 30 minutes before because the area does tend to fill up, but even at 30 minutes prior there's still plenty of room.

Aladdin, we go about 45 minutes before, same for the Dreams Come true fireworks show. Day parade, about 30-20 minutes. I admire those guests who camp out hours before for Fantasmic , would love to hear from one if anyone reading does or has done that. 45 minutes is long for me, but whether 45 minutes or several hours, it's worth it if the spot is good .

Others for us are: Billy Hill and the Hillbillies (my dad's obsessed ), 40-30 minutes to ensure we find a table, and Jedi Training Academy 20 minutes.

The only show I really wait for is the Fireworks, since it get so crowded pretty quickly. I usually am there an hour before the start. I usually get to Billy Hill about 20-25 minutes before the show, to grab a meal. (BTW, your dad is awesome! Billy Hill is one of my favorite things too!)

We don't line up early for much...when we have, DS always needs a potty break and we're crowded out by the time we get back! Jedi Training Academy is the exception--he stands right on the rope from 30 min before until the end of the show. This trip (Aug 14-16) we really lucked out: showed up just at start time for parade, Indy show, fireworks, Aladdin, Playhouse Disney show & Electrical Parade and got right in/good views. Also got in right at start time for Muppet 3D, Drawn Together, & Bug's Life show, but those don't seem to be as popular. We've never done the Princess Fantasy Faire, and will probably line up 30 min before it opens during our Oct trip--that one seems to get quite a line going before long.

On our trip last month, we were walking around CA and realized the next Aladdin show was starting in fifteen minutes. We high-tailed it to the theater, and got in line for seating on the second level. We thought that even if we got crappy seats, we'd still get to see the show.

As we entered, we moved all the way across the back of the theater because all of the empty seats were there. We looked down and realized the "box" seats were empty and not roped off. Best seats in the house!

What an amazing place to sit! Check it out the next time you go! We felt like royalty!
