We plan on getting a dinner package with reserved seating, so how early do we need to get to the last show? For example, if we eat early and plan on going to the second show, how much time do we need to allow? We went several years ago and we only had to allow for 30 minutes before the show started. But it appears that the timing has changed over the years and we may need to allow for more time to get there before it starts even if we have reserved seating Thank You

Dinner Pkg. is not applicable to the second show.

Dinner Pkg. is only good for the first (or only) show of he evening.

First show:

Without Dinner Pkg. arrive 90-120 min. before show-time.
With Dinner Pkg. arrive 50-60 min. before show-time.

Second show:

Without Dinner Pkg. arrive 50-75 min. before show-time.
Dinner Pkg. not available.

Thanks for the reply. We will allow for the extra time as we certainly want to see it. It was nice to go just 30 minutes early years ago... but I know it will be worth the 50-60 minutes ahead of time. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah I am soo glad they added a 2nd showtime for June 4th 9pm and 1030pm. While 1030 is kind of late I will make due. I am gonna open the park and go home mid afternoon to nap so I can stay up for the late Fantasmic. I plan on getting to the 2nd show about an hour before.

We're going to be at that same second show. Pretty pumped that it was added!

I know! I am going with a roomate who has never been and I really wanted her to experience this show but wouldnt wait 2+ hours to see it.

I have never seen it. Is it worth waiting in line for 2 hours?

Thousands of guests do think so.

But, you don't "wait in LINE" for 2 hours.

Guests arriving 2 hours early will be let into the theater by about 90 minutes before show-time.

After that, you'll be seated for the rest of the time.

How do I find out of there are 1 or two Fantasmic Shows nightly during my week at the world. I have been looking but have not been able to find a definate schedule for the week of June 5-June12. I would love to plan on seeing the late show. Any help would be appreciated.:worship:

Disney has been known to add shows as late as the evening you are there.

To check the advance schedule, however-

Take your Pick.

Here's how to find several listings.
I'd advise that you check back OFTEN.

This is a great site to keep BOOKMARKED for future reference.

The following site posts the stage shows, in-park and other on-property shows and their times for the CURRENT week.
(It is updated every weekend.)
The times may be "similar" for other dates as well.

Steve Soares' TIMES GUIDE Site

At the top of the page,
click on the colored links for the various parks
to open their listings and view their show times.

Be sure to check back to the site as the actual dates of your trip get closer.

How early are people let in before the second show?

The gates can open about 60-90 min. before the show, but the seating area may not be opened until about 45-50 min. before the show.

There is a very L-O-N-G walkway/ramp between the gates and the seating area.

We'll be there as well!!! As long as the kids can stay up that late. If earlier in the day we don't think they will be be able to stay up then we will just have to brave the wait of the 1st show.

If we do the dining pkg, do we have to sit in the reserved seating if there are other/better seats available?

You are free to sit ANYWHERE you see an open seat in the entire theater.

It could be me...but I'm not seeing the benefit to the F!DP anymore. I did reserve one for our trip in July...but since they changed the entrance and it "appears" that you wait in line with everyone...is it really worth it to take the dining package anymore?

Not trying to be argumentative just trying to understand.

I also saw elsewhere they stopped the alternate entrance for the FDP -- is that true, or did it just happen one night?

I guess I need to know to plan for my trip -- what have others experienced?

Thanks

I also saw elsewhere
1-they stopped the alternate entrance for the FDP -- is that true, or
2-did it just happen one night?

1-That entrance has been closed for over 6 months.
2-I don't see it being reinstated any time soon.

So do we need to line up early at the gate with everyone else?

ARG! I bought the FDP so I wouldn't have to wait 90 minutes in the theater -- an hour is much more appealing

What is the advantage of the FDP then?

Thanks!
