How early do they shut down the parade route from pedestrian traffic for Spectro?

I would like to come into MK after leaving the park for dinner, just prior to Spectromagic. But knowing that people stake out with their blood, sweat and tears their spaces on Main Street, I would like to make our way back to Frontierland. Do you think I will be able to do this with stroller in tow? Do they cut off traffic from Main Street at a certain time prior to the parade?

They generally start to cut the street off at about 10 minutes before the parade step off time (but because the parade is heading the same direction you want to go you will still be able to walk through the street for most of the way...the Liberty Square Bridge however will be closed off so you would want to either cut through Adventureland or taking the side bridge from Adventureland into LibertySquare). However, if the park is really busy and the crowds are blocking traffic they will have what is called the blow off, which is located behind Tony's resturant it is a backstage area cut through that brings you from Tony's over to the Plaza (eleviating the Main Street Crowd) it is a backstage area which some people don't like however when you are not there for the parade and you are trying to navigate it is a great option in my opinion...you also have the option of taking the train (as long as your stroller can be folded). The trains run during Spectro but vary based on Fireworks. Check the day you are looking at and see when the fireworks are. If the Fireworks are AT park closing (ie: park closes at 8pm fireworks at 8pm) the last train will leave Main Street at 7pm (one hour prior to the scheduled fireworks start time)...However if the fireworks are not AT park closing (ie: fireworks are at 8pm but the park closes at 9pm) the last train will leave Main Street 30 minutes prior to fireworks. It is always a good option to keep in mind when trying to avoid the parade crowds :)
