How early can you check in at RPR?

We are trying to find out how early we can check in so that we can at least get our room keys so we have FOTL access for the day. We know the room wont be ready until mid afternoon, but is it possible to "check in" on our arrival day at 6:30-7:00 am so we get our room keys for FOTL access for the parks?

Yes, you can check in as early as you like.

Checked in, last week, at about 8:10 and our room was even ready.

You check in, get keys, and then the front desk will call you to tell you when your room is ready. That way you can go to the parks and use the line pass. It is nice. But don't count on your room being ready when you get there. I would plan on storing the luggage and heading out to the parks.
