We have PS for 8:00 at Crystal Palace. The restaurant opens at 7, but MK doesn't open until 9. We would really like to take advantage of an empty Main Street to get some great pictures of DS' first trip to Disney. He usually naps around 8 so our hope is that he'll sleep in the stroller and we can eat.

My questions are:

-Can we enter the park at 7 w/ a confirmation # or do we need to wait until it's closer to our scheduled reservation

-If instead of napping at 8:00 he has a meltdown b/c he is not home in his crib, but rather in a stroller with stimulation and we decide it would be best to skip breakfast can we not show or will be be charged on our dining plan?

Yes, if you have PS you can enter the park. It is a good idea to have a conf.# with you, but I have never been asked to show one.

Camdonsmom,

When are you going? Generally the Crystal Palace opens at 8:00 and the earliest ADRs are for 8:05. The 8:05 people don't enter the park until 8:00. At that time I know all of the earlier eight oclock guests (8:05, 8:10, 8:15, etc) get to enter as well. If its early entry morning anyone can enter the park at 8:00. If its not early entry I don't think they let ADRs after 9:00 in until the park offically opens at 9:00

This is what I was going to ask. Crystal Palace's earliest ADR is 8:05.

I've never heard of CP seating before 8:05. If I were you, I'd call and check on that.

We often do the 8:05 seating. During our last 3 visits (Christmas, Oct., and August), we weren't allowed in the park until 8 am. Then, there was a mad rush by some to get to CRT and CP first. We like to enjoy our walk down Main Street, so we don't join the initial marathon. (It's much quieter after the first group takes off.) There's always a bit of a line when we reach CP, but we never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seated.

Hmmm...Thanks for the heads up on double-checking. I'll most definitely look into that. Our reservations are for 3/15. When I called I asked what time they opened and she said 7:00. I then made the reservation and she said the earliest she could get me in was 8:00. I just booked it this morning so I thought I was lucky to even get it that early. I'll call tomorrow with my confirmation # and double check. I would hate to drag the baby over there before 8 if we can't get in.

I had originally inquired about the next day which is extended park hours at MK and the park opens at 8 that day so I wonder if CP opens at 7 when the park opens at 8 for resort guests and I just made the assumption when she said they open at 7 that it meant everyday.

I'll post what I find out in case anyone is curious.

I know when ever we have an ADR at CP the earliest we get is 8:05. We have never been allowed in the park any earlier then 8am.
