How early BW to TTC on Disney Transportation?

I am hoping to help out as a volunteer for the Danskin WDW women's triathlon during our upcoming stay. The race is at 6:30 am on Sunday, September 16th. The MK opens at 9 am that day and it is not an EE day. I'd need to be there as early as possible. We will not be renting a car during our stay. Any suggestions/recommendations?

The bus to the MK is really your only option if you plan on using Disney transportation. SInce they don't start running until about an hour before the park opens, I think the earliest you could reasonably expect to get there is about 8:15 - 8:30.

IMHO, the best option is a cab. The ride is quick and will run about $15, including tip. Cabs are very easy to get at the BW. Just walk outside the main hotel entrance and ask the CM in the booth. We took at cab to the Poly early one Sunday morning (similar situation - wanted to be there well before any Disney transportation was available) this past January. Even though it was marathon weekend and many of the usual roads within WDW were blocked off, we got to the Poly quickly and easily.

Note there is no direct Disney transportation from BW to the TTC, as the bus from BW goes directly to MK. As noted, the time you contemplate may require you to take a cab. I do not know what the event is that you mention but if it is a Disney sponsored event and you need to get there early and are going to work the event I would discuss the situation with guest services at the hotel the day before -- they may just provide a free courtesy car to take you.
