How does yes program work with fd?

Ok I know you can sign your kids up to do the YES program & you get discounted park tickets. Can you get that with the free dining offer or is it only valid without the FD? Very confused.

You could certainly do YES classes and Free Dining but you would still have to buy theme park tickets for both.

IOW, you must buy at least 2-day MYW base tickets for everyone on the reservation (and pay the rack rate for the room) in order to get Free Dining.

You only have to buy YES tickets for the child(ren) participating and any adult chaperone for children under the age of 14.

Since the 2-day MYW base tickets can be given to anyone as long as they have not been used for a admission to the parks, you could give all of them to the adult(s) not chaperoning the kid(s) in YES classes.

However, I have no idea whether you would save any money by doing this. I'm going under the assumption that you are interested in the YES classes as an academic experience and not in order to save money on tickets.

It would be just like anyone else that wants free dining and already have tickets (left over NE, AP, etc). You would still have to buy the minimum MYW ticket for free dining.

You can keep them and upgrade them on a future trip.

Oh and BTW YES tickets are only good for a narrow time window so you can't hold on to them for a future visit.
