I have lived in Florida for 14 years and I am embarassed to say we have never been to Universal Orlando - we have always been Disney people. What makes it REALLY embarassing is the fact that I worked for Universal Studios Hollywood before we moved from California to Florida.
In California, Universal was always my favorite theme park, mostly because I have always been a huge movie buff. I know that Universal Orlando does not have a backlot tour like Universal Hollywood does, but otherwise, how do the two parks compare? Like so many others, we are becoming disenchanted with Disney (price hikes, SOOO crowded, etc) and we want to try something new. We really aren't roller coaster people, which probably contributed to us not visiting before now, but we do like shows and experiences. Thanks so much!
