Nothing to fear in TOT, even if your DS is a skinny little thing! LOL! If you are really worried though, just sit in the back of the car the first time.
I've been coerced onto several free fall rides, including the one on the top of the Statosphere in Las Vegas -- if you weren't afraid of heights before, you might be after going on that thing!
I've also done the one at Cedar Point and the one at Kennywood in Pittsburgh and ToT is MILD believe me! The fun of ToT is the theming and CM's and the pre-show in the car before the drop. I will say, the beginning is a kinda dark and scary. My seven year old niece LOVED the drop sequences, but she HATED the dark creepy beginning.
ToT is much scarier looking and watching from the outside than the actual ride itself on the inside. Thrill factor, I'd say about 5.
